Ladies  Cresta Bowl Trophy,

played over 36 holes.

This years competition was won by Lynne Knight and the first photo shows our President presenting the trophy. Lily Hirst came 2nd and Carol Crowther came 3rd. Additionally, Gillian Goodlass received a prize for the best first round score, Carol Armitage won the prize for the second round and Barbara Daniel won the 9 hole prize.

Additionally, Lynne Knight has qualified for the LGA national medal final by qualifying at Prenton Golf Club (which is on the Wirral). For this national competition, the country is divided into regions where only the top 10 competitors from each region qualify and Lynne qualified from the North Region. Lynne now goes to Woodhall Spa GC on the 15th August for the national final. This is a tremendous achievement by Lynne, who has only been playing for 5 years and, as far as I am aware, is the first lady from Outlane to qualify for this national final. Congratulations Lynne. Go Well!!!

Congratulations to Outlane’s Irene Battye and Carol Crowther on
